Vice Magazine Glows With BMW Comments | Mar 26 2008

The April issue of the beloved culture magazine Vice has done an interesting advertising campaign with BMW Canada. The campaign is for the BMW 1 Series and this campaign mimics the strategy of the 1 series… “short, intense experiences” . In the light the cover featuring Sasha Grey looks like a regular cover, but when the lights go out… a car can be seen glowing.
At first you wouldn’t really think BMW would want to share the cover with a porn star, but they are and its not deterring me from buying a BMW. It also may not be expected that targeting readers of Vice is a wise choice because they don’t seem to be their target demographic, but they create buzz and in a few years will be the ones buying the BMWs.
I LOVE THE ORIGINALITY!
