Aside from the amazing ID in this peice will aquatic animals be the accessory of all those self aware people in 2009? Goldfish or Chinese Fighting fish what would be more gnarly? Or will this be only an accessory for warm weatherd locations?

 Does anyone know who makes this? Or who the designer is?

A new shirt company is making an impact in the world and I would go out and say could possible be the new HoH of 2k9. based out of Rome Italy 5 PreView seems to draw influence from the punk / thrash / electro scene. 

Is the whole alt masked Dj thing an inspiratoin of 5PreView or is that whole mystery dj/producer being influenced by them? Anyways can anybody say Bloody Beetroots…? HeartsRevolution…?

A bit of background…When House of Holland came out with the large font t-shirt prints with witty sayings everyone was lovin’ it. With their new lines, HoH have definitely a more mature design yet still true to their original “clame to fame”. Once HoH set this lets say style H&M quickly cough on with half ass pointless saying.  So with that being said I am calling 5PreView as being the shirt company of 2k9.

Lets leave it at I am lovin’ the design/shirts from 5PreView def. watch out for them!

I’ve recently been loving the publication/blog Refinery 29. They are out of NYC and cater to Fashion, Travel, Music, Deisgn oriented people. They have a LA edition as well. The site has everything from Shop directories per city as well as online video content. They are “devoted to seeking out the people, products, and ideas that set the bar for originality and exceptionally, season after season.” Which is great!! Since I first came across Refinery 29 i have notices significant content updates and site improvements which really emphasizes their whole “forward thinking” ideals.

I would defiantly mark Refinery 29 as a bi-weekly stop on your online browsing.

I came across these concept Limited Ed. Nike SB Dunks done by Concepts in Cambridge MA. and are by far one of the most original designs I’ve seen for a SB show so far. The inspiration came from the New England lobster and fishing community. I’ve found out a bit late seeing they were released May 31 but non the less these are FRESH!

My good buddy Dj Barletta just saw Put The Rifle Down in Toronto the other day and has since had me hooked on such melodic songs which seem to have taken a large influence from late 80’s pop rock (u2 maybe) which could maybe now be considered synth-pop-dance-rock.

QEDQuod Erat Demonstrandum, shotened to QED, is a Berlin based fashion label, founded by Julia Boge, Simona Gabrieli and Jasmin Moallim in 2006. During their studies at fashion school, the three discovered their common love for the colour black, which kick-started their subsequent collaboration, that has culminated in the debut collection “Jerry Lewis vs. Gari Kasparov” for fall/winter 06/07. A mixture between minimalism and playfulness., the garments adhere to the rules of classical menswear tailoring but mix up the uniformity with playful details.  In 2007 at the Beck’s Fashion Experience QED was selected as the only menswear collection on show in a field of designers set to represent the best of young German design talent.   Personally I enjoy QED’s simplicity of the garments yet attention to detail with fit and unique detailing on each piece.

I have been browsing Skeleton Legs over the past while. It’s a great blog… I love it… it’s current, clean and an affluent take on contemporary mens fashion. I highly recommend a browse it will definitely be worth your time. Skeleton Legs Loves You!
