Here’s a quick post with some tracks i’ve been listening too A LOT! there bangers they get you dancing AND combined they draw influence from most every style of music… Yall lucky to be gettin tracks from Toronto’s MANSION - Body. This track reminds me of breakbeat 80’s dance… Haddaway… Night at the Roxbury anyone…? Anyways next we gots some CHEW FU remixing one of the newer tunes from Oasis - The Turning. On the note of Chew Fu, one of his mixes showed up in a D&G runways show… Love Lock Down…. Wicked dude, congrats! Lastly we have some UK producers killing the heavy beats low bass, HeavyFeet are remixing Natty Jacks - Jackin the Garage.

Hailing from Brisbane Queensland Australia, Twist Oliver, Twist! is def. progressing the sound of Australian pop, and even the global music scene. Their fast passed energetic dance sound meshed with a pop infused indie voice. Listening to their tracks I can hear definite similarities  to Interpol, some At the Drive-in, The Faint and Bloc Party’s Weekend In The City Album. I am having a hard time believing that they are still unsigned and have only been around since ‘07. The new Klever, a remix of Hot by Big Gipp is tight. What took me back is that is shares a similar sound to distinctive MSTRKRFTs tone. This remix obviously veered away from his electronic ghetto tech dirty south sound that Klever has been known for. Refreshing sound from this producer.

There have been a lot of collabs appearing recently between Canadian musicians and Parisians. If it had to be summed up what the outcome of these collaborations are it would be winning music. Two examples of French and Canadian musical talent meshing is Chrome Knight which is Surkin’s White Knight with a new vocal track done by Dave 1 of Chromeo and DatA’s Rapture ft. Sebastian Grainger of the once DFA 1979 and Sebastian Grainger & the Mountains.
