I’ve decided that Henrik Vibskov jumper/bed is my choice for a Halloween costume and that I should probably wear jumper from this day on. Its available at Seven New York and other Henrik Vibskov product is available at his store The V-Store.

Fashion designer Henrik Vibskov graduated from Central St Martins in 2001 and shows at Paris Fashion Week, where he is currently the only Scandinavian designer on the official show schedule. Vibskov creates conceptual collections, which are sold in selected boutiques around the globe including his own The-V-Store in Copenhagen.

Empire Of The Sun are one of those bands from Australia that are proving there are no “bad” music coming from the land down under. Empire Of The Sun consist of Nick Littlemore of Pnau and Luke Steele of The Sleepy Jackson. Who knows I could be hatted for this reference but Empire Of The Sun kind of reminds me of a Australian MGMT in a with their easy listening pop psychedelia. Many people have been claiming that the remix of Walking On A Dream by Sam La More (Sam Littlemore the brother of Nick Littlemore) is the best rmx of the song. While it is good, my vote goes with VanShe Tech remix. The new song by The Killers does not suck, it is just as authentic and majestic a band can get. Noting The Killers are getting weirder and more obscure their music keeps raising the bar for the fusion between Indie Rock and Alternative music. Human starts off with similarities to U2 and blends into a more familiar sound of When You Were Young but making sure that they are not just banking of the sound and success of their previous hit. I found Human also shares similarities with the Toronto group Put The Rifle Down. Aside from the roaming majestic animals I am in awe of Brandon Flowers feather vest… like what? A-mazing. The Killers new album Day & Age is being released November 25, 2008.

Trousers London is a London-based premium men’s jeanswear label recently launched by a team of four multi-disciplinary creatives.

Trousers London makes jeans for the genuine modern day gentlemen, for the man who loves the thrill of the new and is always at the forefront of the avant-garde. This season, however, brings the launch of new designs for the ladies, a slim leg and a bootleg flare with the distinctive tailoring and quirks of the men’s lines.

Honestly I was soo excited to finally see a creative flair and something new in terms of denim. Trousers London are really pushing forward the modern denim industry. They have an online store so buy a pair before the they run out! Each line is ID’d with a unique number from 1-600 per line.

There’s photos floating around of the new Spring 2009 line by Jeremy Scott at Paris Fashion Week. one of these photos consist of Jeremy Scott’s collab. with Adidas Originals. Pretty tight for sure. The new line by Jeremy Scott is killer, keeping with his signature contemporary designs and patters mixed with influence of styles from the French Revolution royalty. Video of the show below.

CASSIUS Eyewear is giving a new look to the overly blan market of eyewear. Based out of Auckland New Zealand will be definitly something to look forward to in the near future. Jason Ng, CASSIUS creative director has already hit tradeshows worldwide and turning heads with such unique designs. ODEUR is a label based out of Sweden and seeks to challenge conventional notions of how basic garments are constructed. A playful relation to the silhouette, a focus on details and unexpected cuttings characterizes the Odeur collection, that includes jeans, shirts, hoodies, t-shirts and scarves.

Odeur was founded in 2006 and is designed by Petter Hollström and Anna Lidström. Originally it was a final
examination project from Berghs School of Communication, seeking to broaden the opinion of what design really means from a brand perspective.
