Teenagers have the power to do a lot of things in society, but could anyone have thought that teenagers could revive Britney’s career? I sure didn’t…. well the remix by The Teenagers just may have brought Britney back in a matter of a 4 minute song. Love it.

We Have Band is a group from London UK and are signed to the french music/fashion label Kitsune. Their music reminds me of a more raw and bass heavy/ art dance rock The Teenagers and an odd carnival feel like Man Man. But can anyone still say Progressive 80’s music? It doesn’t matter cause there’s a tinge of that in the music We Have Band plays. Just love it.

CASSIUS Eyewear is giving a new look to the overly blan market of eyewear. Based out of Auckland New Zealand will be definitly something to look forward to in the near future. Jason Ng, CASSIUS creative director has already hit tradeshows worldwide and turning heads with such unique designs. Their site should drop some time this month and their online store will open early ‘09. I can’t wait. For uptodate information about the designers check their blog.

For as long as many can remember the bathroom has stayed relatively the same, the tub, sink, shower all kept a within a mold that has been used for years. For this reason alone, this tub/shower caught my eye threw simplistic design and innovation. The Rotator fixture for Italian manufacturer Tueco was designed by Ron Arad, an Israli Industrial designer. The whole fixture rotates allowing the shallower side to be used as a shower floor and the deeper side to be a tub. I am amazed by the creativity and innovation that has finally come to this fixture. ODEUR is a label based out of Sweden and seeks to challenge conventional notions of how basic garments are constructed. A playful relation to the silhouette, a focus on details and unexpected cuttings characterizes the Odeur collection, that includes jeans, shirts, hoodies, t-shirts and scarves.

Odeur was founded in 2006 and is designed by Petter Hollström and Anna Lidström. Originally it was a final
examination project from Berghs School of Communication, seeking to broaden the opinion of what design really means from a brand perspective.
